Angel wants to tell his own story, not a hit
Young musician Angel Noor released a song titled 'Premer Ansik' in the discussion. He will also be seen in movies.
It is not just a song, it is an expression of a silent feeling like a drop of water on a car window on a lonely rainy afternoon. The depth of your voice and lyrics is heart touching. Every word of the song, every fluctuation of the melody floats in an unknown nostalgia', a listener named Sheikh Sadman commented on YouTube after listening to 'Love Index'.
Another listener named Athina Chakma wrote, 'This voice is like the petals of a flower wet with morning dew - soft, sweet, touching. Listening again and again like mesmerized.
Angel released the song on his YouTube channel on July 27. Over 30,000 views in two weeks. Apart from singing, Angel also wrote the lyrics and melody.
Song of the guest bird
Angel Noor compared himself to a visiting bird while writing the song. Just like a visiting bird moves from one country to another and makes a home, falls in love with someone, but knows in his heart that he will have to leave when the weather changes, the song also expresses that uncertainty and confusion. The bird knows he has to go, so he repeatedly asks his beloved bird, 'Will you go now?'
The song uses the word 'indicator' in several senses, including beginning, gauge or indicator. As much as he has love or love, his existence or measure is his beloved person.
Story teller Noor
Before this, Angel Noor became known by singing 'If Again', 'Til'. If a song is popular, he is not in favor of making another similar song. Every song is a different story for him. He said, 'I have written 58 songs. There are 58 stories in 58 songs.
While introducing himself, he said, 'I always want to call myself a story teller. Because, each of my songs has a different story.'
He commented, 'Each of my songs is different. They do not match classical, modern, and Rabindra music. But it's something!'
Noor's phone has 412 tones. He did not compose these tunes at any particular time or sitting in the studio. Rather, whenever a tune came to mind during daily work, he recorded it.
He said, sometimes while riding a bike, sometimes while cooking, even if the tune comes to mind while talking to someone, he keeps on the phone.
Do not want to float in the current of popularity
Noor turned down many commercial music offers. Because producers often want 'hit' songs that only have quick entertainment or certain beats. According to him, if all the songs were created in such a formula with only the needs of the audience in mind, there would be no art or storytelling left.
It seems easy for him to become trending for a week by doing marketing, PR or boosting on YouTube but he doesn't want to do that. He feels that there are many songs, which no one listens to after 10-15 days. According to him, if he had floated in that stream, he might have released more songs, but he wants his songs to be heard the same way by people even after 10 years.
His goal is not a quick hit, Angel wants to tell his own story. For him, even if a song reaches people slowly, it is important if people want to listen to the song even after a long time. He said, "If all songs become like this, then there will be no art."
Album, movie ahead
There is a plan to make an album with three songs each of Rabindranath Tagore and Kazi Nazrul Islam. He is working on the album. Also working on an album of 12 original songs. Acting also has new news. A movie is supposed to be shot in late September or October. There he will play the role of Dalim Kumar.
